Life can be lead effortlessly and in fact it is. It is only the ego/mind that says that there is a "me" living this life and making decisions. No one is doing anything because there is no one. You cannot help but do what you do. It is only the judgment of what you think you are doing that brings suffering, but even this suffering is not real because there is no one to suffer.
