July 20th - Day 201

We have a habit of always looking to the future as the place where things will be resolved and this makes sense so long as one thinks one has a problem.  So long as one thinks one has a problem, the future becomes real because without a conceptual future where would the problem be solved?  But consider if there actually were no future.  What would a problem then be?  If you get rid of the future you also get rid of problems.  If you look at this closely, you will see that the only reason you keep a future around is so that you can deny or overlook the Present - the Present where you don't exist.
